Stomach Flabby
If there is
one aspect of weight loss, above all others, that men and
women all over the world are most focused on it's how to get
rid of stomach fat. Not a day goes by that we do not
see the famous and glamorous showing off their toned torso's
and leave the rest of us feeling inadequate. It can seem
very difficult to banish the flab from your belly, I trust I
can make it a little
easier.

To begin with we need to face the facts. The
sad fact is that there exists no instant cure for belly fat.
Pills, at their best, will reduce the fat but will not help you
to get and keep a flat, toned torso.
If you want to banish those
extra pounds around your middle on a permanent basis, then you
have to employ a new diet as well as exercise. A combination of
resistance and cardiovascular training combined with healthy
eating will firm up those tummy muscles. If you get this right
losing your excess stomach weight won’t be a
struggle.
3,500 calories = 1 lb
fat
Don't think, for a second,
that losing fat around your middle is easier for some than
others or that you can't do it. At the very heart of your
revised eating habits needs to be your awareness that you must
reduce your daily intake of calories. If you reduce your
calorie intake to be lower than that your body burns, you will
lose weight. A pound of fat is the equivalent of 3,500 calories
so if you intend to lose a pound per week you need to reduce
your daily calorie intake by 500 calories.
There is a limit on how far
you should go in restricting your intake of calories. You may
have heard of starvation mode, this occurs when you deprive
your body of so many calories that it begins to store fat in
order to beat the famine ! You should reduce your calories just
enough to start burning off the fat and then get rid of
additional fat by exercising.
Don't need a huge
amount of exercise
The kind of exercise you need
is often referred to as cardiovascular, which includes
swimming, running and cycling. Every other day it would be a
good idea to do some weight resistant exercises. You can have
programs created for you, of course, at the local
gym.
By combining cardiovascular
and weight resistance exercising you will drop the fat around
your middle permanently.
Your diet should never include
soda drinks, junk food or anything else with a high sugar or
fat content. Instead you must eat lots of fish, fruit and
vegetables.
The impact on your life isn't just about losing
weight
Getting started is probably
the most difficult part of the whole process but I can promise
that if you follow the advice above and find a diet that is
right for you then your entire life will improve hugely.
Remember the journey across the desert begins with a single
step, with what you have found out here and a new, sensible
diet, you can look forward to a healthier, happier
you.

IMPORTANT
We do not offer medical advice. Before
undertaking any diet or weight loss program you should,
first, consult your doctor or physician. You should be
especially careful if you have any existing medical
condition or are taking any form of
medication.
Exercise should be approached with
caution. It is not uncommon to sustain injury when taking
up exercise for the first time or after a long period of
relative inactivity. At the slightest sign of pain or
discomfort you should stop exercising and seek the help
of an appropriately qualified expert before resuming
activity.
The diets we recommend are not suitable
for pregnant or breast-feeding women, nor should they be
undertaken by anyone under the age of 18 without first
seeking expert medical
opinion.
